Hey Guys I'm back after a short break from Chobots and Blogging :) Needless to say I missed it almost immediately and now I'm back with a new (and hopefully better) look for our blog. Game Night

Chobots have decided to choose some new journalist for journalist program.Journalist program is where chobots is being awarded for their excellent skills in posting,template designing etc. To be a journalist you need to either have:

1)Blog - Where you post about chobots and its news in our own words and style.Basically you're doing this for other fellow to chobots to keep them updated.(not coping from the official Blog of chobots)

2) Active citizen in Chobots - Play regularly,Know Chobots inside and out,Helping out other fellow young chobots and aware of latest updates and news.

It keeps getting better!!

Twinklefairyx:Well, I think I derserve your votes because I am on Chobots regularly and I help out a lot. I also create headers, banners and signatures for people for free wishing for nothing in return. I am active outside of Chobots as well, helping out on Skype and giving tips on email :)

Me: If you were made into an agent, what would you do thats not already been done?
twinklefairyx:I would be active most of the time. And every week there will be a 'best cho of the week' which is where I draw them in the agents underground and put them on my blog :)

twinklefairyx:I was an agent on .com (fairyx) and I wish to retain my status.

Newy: I would bring in many ideas from you, I would do my part to help, I would do jobs that need to be doing, and I would be supporting new Chobots a lot more than usual.

The chobot chronicles

Chapter 4- A brick wall

Few hours later Bebotron found herself in swaddled in blue and white blankets. Staring down at her were the faces of Dan, Tripleh and Dragonflys each the same level of concern. They just continued staring at each other. They didn’t say anything, but the question written on their faces was clear- Who did it?

Josephine’s apartment, 24 hours ago-

Dragonflys heard the sound of a thump. He motioned for the others to follow him and crept stealthily toward the sound of the direction, wary of what he would find. He turned around to see an unconscious Bebo lying in a pool of blood! They sprinted toward her. “The blood isn’t coming from her,” said Dragonflys softly “it’s from Josephine.” Quiet but horrified gasps were heard from everyone except Dragonflys (whose only reaction was a slight widening of his eyes) , none of them out of place at the drama unfolding around them. “L-let’s just see if Bebo is still alive though…” said a thoroughly spooked Tripleh. He knelt down and checked for a pulse. A relieved smile decorated his face. “She’s okay!” he said “but we should take her down to the hospital…” the obvious question remained unanswered “what do we do about Josephine?” whispered Dan almost inaudibly. “We first take Bebo to the hospital and then call the authorities.” Came the swift and firm reply from Dragonflys.

The hospital, present-

“So wait?” said Bebotron “didn’t the police question us? I mean we were at the scene of the crime! It would be irresponsible if they didn’t!” “They did.” Came the taciturn reply from Dragonflys. “Well?! Continue!” “There’s nothing to explain! We invented a story about how Josephine invited us for a movie party, we found the door unlocked we walked, found Josephine dead and you fainted at the shock of seeing your “best friend” die!” Dragon roared. His furious expression shocking all the visitors! Bebotron stared back motionlessly, she was used to way worse “And they bought that?!” she said incredulously “They found burnt popcorn in the kitchen…” came the put out reply. They all sat quietly, each making their own conclusions about what went on before they arrived. Each more fantastical than the last but each with the same general conclusion- she was murdered by the person who took the professor and his brother. “Well you’re free to go darling but take care next time and try not to be too shocked by anything in the future! I mean you don’t seem like the timid type…” shooting the motherly looking nurse a withering glance, she got up and donned her boots. “Let’s hit the road fellas,” she said in an uncharacteristically happy voice “we have work to do!”

They arrived in Dan and Tripleh’s two bedroom apartment in Castellar residences. They had a better paying job than Bebotron and it showed! A fifty inch flat-screened television was seen upon entry to their house and every decoration even gleamed more expensively than her ornaments! She didn’t mind though, this was just another excuse to dirty their things and get Dan as mad as possible! “Okay, what I don’t understand is the professor was kidnapped one day before Josephine was killed,” started Bebotron “Yes?” questioned Tripleh “Well, wouldn’t the police think of getting into the security room and looking at the tapes? I mean come on!” she chuckled, slightly hysterically “Right?” she looked around for agreement. She wasn’t disappointed. “They did try,” Dragon said but was cut off by an extremely hyperactive Bebo “And they failed terribly? I mean I know Josephine was amazing at her job at security, but how good was she?” “Good enough to have an eye and finger-print scanner at start up and if you did manage to get through that, the door would open to another door which would only open to Josephine’s weight and voice patterns and handwriting and a special phrase!” said Dragonflys with a superior smirk. The smirk had its effect making everyone groan at his condescending attitude. Bebotron, unlike the others, was actually more used to his sometimes patronizing attitude! She did have to go in the same car as him and so was well trained! “Guys I think I have a plan…” said Bebotron “what are you tal- ahh!” said Dan finally understanding. “Umm, explain?” asked Tripleh, Bebotron leaned into her tan skinned friend’s ear and explained “That’s GENIUS!” Tripleh said with a gleeful smile. Dragonflys, who wasn’t appreciating being left out of the loop, asked “Hey! Don’t leave me out! Explain!” he complained pitifully. Bebotron grinning from ear to ear “You, my dear dear friend, are going to hack into her files!” Spluttering, Dragonflys stuttered “WHAT?! No way you guys! No way! That is ILLEGAL!” “Oh please! Big D you’re the most dare-devil person in Chobots! You’d LOVE to do this!” said Bebotron; looking at his unsure expression she added “Yeah… you probably wouldn’t be able to do it anyway. It’s too sophisticated for you. You probably couldn’t crack it even if you did want to…” That statement had its effect and Dragonflys jumped up and roared “OH YEAH?! We’ll see about that! And by the way don’t think I don’t know what you’re doing…” he said smiling impishly “Oh whatever do you mean big D?” Bebotron asked, trying (and failing) at smiling and looking innocent. “You are trying to goad me into this! Lucky for you guys though,” he said “I actually want to do this!” Dan walked over to the older chobot “what are the tools that you’ll need for this though?” he queried “just a laptop and an email recently sent by her.” “A recently sent email? Why?” asked Dan; Bebotron smiled “simple because all the videos aren’t going to be in the security room! It will be downloaded and automatically sent to her email inbox! She’s a genius and so we must think like a genius!” she glanced around the room and a teasing smile appeared on her face “It’s easy for me! You guys might struggle though!” “HAR HAR HAR!” said Tripleh as he and the others bashed Bebo with a cushion. “So you guys staying over at our place for today?” emphasizing the ‘for today’ part “Yeah, I’m staying. What about you big D?” when the chobot in question nodded, Bebotron yelled “I CALL DIBS ON THE COUCH WITH THE EXTRA SPACE!” Dragonflys shook his head and tried to find a place that was far away from the “bull-horn.”

Chapter 3- Confessions

Waking up wasn’t a major issue for the chobot. It’s not like she had any sleep she wished she could have more of, so waking up just gave her an outlet to get rid of her pent up energy! Bebotron finished her list and found that she still had 10 minutes to go to the stop and with so much time on her hands she might as well go up to her neighbor’s flat and make amends for so rudely closing the door on her face, “although” she argued with herself, “I was late, so I guess that could serve as an alibi… aww I’m fooling nobody! Let’s go apologize…”

 As she slowly walked toward her neighbor’s house, (it was a good 3 yards away) immersed in her own thoughts about what she would say and how she would say it, she looked nothing short of a squirrel with her faced constantly scrunching up with her ever changing emotions! The sound of rapidly approaching footsteps roused her from her thoughts; she quickly looked up to see a light blue chobot. But it wasn’t the skin tone that caused Bebo to recognize her, it was the unmistakable look of sheer determination. “Josephine?!” said Bebotron. Josephine was the head of security at the academy, they weren’t friends but they were each other’s source of intellectual conversation at any ceremony they were invited to. It wasn’t that they didn’t find the other Chobots smart, it was just that the others didn’t think outside of the box. “Bebo, I don’t have much time so just remember this: answers are found in a place they don’t allow you to look…” said Josephine hurriedly, desperately and undeniably fearfully. “Wait Josephine. What are you trying to sa-“Bebo was cut off, much to her annoyance, by Josephine’s loud whimper. Josephine turned to the direction of her house (two buildings away from Bebo’s) and ran.

Bebotron continued walking, however now she walked toward her stop. She found a rather angry Dragonflys looking at her. “why are you so late?! I swear it’s like you want to get us fired!” he said belligerently. Bebo looked up with the most ferocious face she could make and successfully lowered the timbre of her voice to sound all the more menacing, “Dragonflys, I have no intention of getting us fired! I was busy! And you won’t get fired because YOU ARE A DAMN CITIZEN! Citizens have perks remember?! or have you already forgotten your anime mask?! And if you have a problem, don’t pick me up!” she said it in a way that dared anyone to argue, though of course no would argue with Bebotron when she is angry, people have been known to disappear from Popsicle completely when they provoked her enough! “Okay! You’re right I’m sorry… just could you tell me what’s going on?” whined a poor Dragonflys “No big D… I can’t. Trust me it isn’t worth it…” and with that she put on her headphones masking the remainder of Dragonflys’ questions with the loudest nu-metal song she had.

She arrived at her office and, as expected, the face of her sour-faced boss popped in near her desk. “You’re more than 5 minutes late now. I’m seriously starting to wonder if you want to get fired from this job…” Zezoo said annoyingly. It was a stupid thing to say. Of course she wanted this job! She needed it, she breathed and basically lived for music! “No Zee. I don’t want to get fired from this job… I’m sorry for being late. Rest assured it won’t happen again.” mumbled Bebotron. Zezoo was taken aback. Was this the same girl who verbally outmatched Zezoo anytime she bullied her? “Okay fine… See that it doesn’t happen again!” and saying that, she left.

The rest of the day passed more slowly than Bebotron would’ve liked. She just wanted to go me and drown her confusion and misery in a bowl of cheese bites! When the time came for her to leave, she bolted as fast as she could and ran for the car park. To her complete surprise and utter dismay, she found that Dragonflys car wasn’t in its usual spot. “That utter scum of a Chobot left me here to find my own method of transportation!” she muttered to herself “Oh he will pay for this tenfold!” the rest of her one hour walk was filled thoughts of revenge and gory murder! She reached the door of her house and bent down to get the key from under the mat. “Okay. It should be here somewhere I do remember putting it here…” her train of thought quickly dissipated when she heard the sound of Tripleh yelling about complete unfairness in a game “AWW COME ON! I WANTED THAT PLACE!” thundered Tripleh. No doubt they were playing chonopoly… she rang the doorbell furiously several times as an indication that they better have a good explanation for breaking into her house. Okay that was over dramatic, her sensible side said, it isn’t breaking into a house if the keys are in the most obvious place known to chobot kind! The door was answered by an extremely frightened looking Dan. “Hello Bebo,” he said trying to give a confident grin but failing miserably his fear was radiating as was Tripleh’s. He was hiding behind his brother “we –er- wanted to talk to you…” she strode into her house and found Dragonflys vacating one of the couches. “So you’re here? Thanks for having me walk all the way to the same destination you were going too.” She said stiffly and sarcastically. “S-sorry,” Dragonflys stammered “we just needed to talk to you about…” he stopped abruptly “Well? About what?” enquired Bebotron warily “about your behavior these last few days.” Completed Dan. Never had Bebotron so wanted to fly from her own home. She’d rather be facing down a hundred Zezoos than have to explain the fact she was possibly one of the witnesses to a kidnapping! Well, she countered, I was going to tell them at some point. Might as well be now…

They all sat huddled around the electric fire place. As soon as she finished her explanation of the past events, Dan spoke up “We believe you,” he said firmly “only because it corresponds with this morning’s report on The Chobot Times.” She didn’t know whether to be relieved by the fact that they believed her or offended by the fact that they wouldn’t believe her unless she had proof… conundrums, conundrums… “So what do we do?” Tripleh asked hesitantly after Bebotron finished reading the article. “well we can’t really tell anyone because if we do who knows what the people who kidnapped the professor and his brother will do? They might escape or worse kill the professor and his brother entirely!” she said. There was a murmur of assent rippling around the tiny crowd. Dragonflys passive expression made it hard to try and guess what he was thinking “well it’s obvious really,” Dragonflys said suddenly, startling everyone from their stupor “we solve this ourselves!” “NO WE DON’T!” Bebotron yelled “I WON’T ALLOW ANYONE TO GET INVOLVED!” seething horribly, Bebotron sank back into her seat staring at everyone argumentatively. “Bebo,” started Tripleh “you said it yourself ‘you become evil if you stand by and let evil happen’ you know so much and if we can help we should right?” it was a rhetoric question of course they should help! “Fine! But where do we start?” asked Bebotron “We start by reviewing the footage at the academy.” said Dragonflys thoughtfully “Good idea! We could review the tapes and try and see who did it?” agreed Dan “Yeah you guys we could do that but who will give us access to the security room?” countered Bebotron “well, we could get Josephine to help she is sort of your friend; she might give us access…” said Tripleh confidently “that is a good idea.” Bebotron said slowly “let’s go to her now and see what we can do. She lives two buildings to the left of me…” a silent agreement was made and they all left for Dragonflys car.

They reached Josephine’s building without any major issues, although, Dan, Tripleh and Dragonflys might contradict! “We didn’t get to EAT!” they whined “guys we’re in the middle of something important and you can’t get your heads out of your stomachs?!” that shut them up. They took the elevator to her floor and reached her door. Excitement was bubbling in everyone’s stomach! Bebotron knocked tentatively. The door swung open with an eerie creaking sound, looking at each other first, they entered. The smell of blood and sweat mingled with smoke attacked their noses. Breaking into a run, Bebotron found something she wished she didn’t find… her whole world crashed around her, a tidal wave of emotion swept her causing her to sink to the floor in defeat. Tears fell steadily at the sight before her. Slow black tendrils warped her vision “the world is fading and I wish I did too” was the only thought running through her mind before unconsciousness took her to his labyrinth…

THE CHOBOT CHRONICLES

Chapter 2- hearing something you wish you didn’t hear

The next morning Bebotron woke up with a strange sense of peace. She didn’t have that urge to go and shoot the people next door for making more noise than a cranky baby, everything was peaceful. She got out of bed to start her early morning rituals- brush her teeth, take a bath and make the best breakfast she could in 5 minutes. She was 2/3^rd’s done with her list when she heard the doorbell ring. “This had better be good because I’m late as it is!” that’s right her job at Rockemall stage was a demanding one but a fun job to say the least! I mean how many jobs do you get that allows you to work with music and well-known celebrities? Bebotron opened the door expecting to see her friends but was instead met with an eager, smiley and very friendly face “Hi! I’m Chandelier I am your new neighbor and welcome to the neighborhood! What’s your name? How old are you? Where did you live before coming to this flat? Did you live in Victory heights before this? Where do you work?” all these questions where said in one breath, leaving Bebo slightly amazed at the stamina of the chobot! She still had breath to smile without panting. That deserves an award! “Um hi. I’m Bebotron, but you can call me Bebo. I am 110 years old and I work at the Rockemall stage as music developer and I did live in Victory heights.” Chandelier seemed happy with the fact that Bebo didn’t close the door in her face, she did seem like the type. “Well welcome once again to the neighborhood and I hope you like your stay at Castellar residences. You’re free to come over to my house at any time, I work at home as the finance manager for the Shop.”  “Um, yeah thanks, I’m gonna have to leave now thanks for the warm welcome” saying that Bebo closed the door, donned her boots and ran out, clutching a piece of toast. She had to go catch a ride with her friend Dragonflys.

She arrived at the stop, barely having enough time to catch her friend when he arrived in his convertible Corbel. Top of the line of course, she noted with a twinge of happiness. “Get in the car slowpoke. You’re making us late as usual!” said the not so happy Dragonflys “Yeah, good morning to you too big D…” she said with an eyebrow raised. She was happy to be his friend and all but he could be a jerk if he really wanted to. “Why are you so crabby anyway? It’s not like you like going to work! I mean just last week you wished you could have early retirement! What happened now?” enquired Bebo. Chuckling Dragonflys replied with his favorite reply- silence. Sniffing to show her complete disdain with his method of replying, she turned toward her window, popping her headphones on and drowning her anticipation with thrash-metal. “Did you know that I have an anime mask? Yup it’s for citizens only.” He said with utter joy. Now he doesn’t mean to rub it into your face that he is a citizen. But the times he does even though it is an accident, makes people want to punch him! Bebo’s only response to whatever he said was an increment of volume.

Thirty minutes later, they arrived at Rockemall stage. As soon as Dragon parked, they parted ways, him to the Market Research division and her to the Music Developing sector. She walked in to be greeted by her not so favorite boss- Zezoo. “You’re five minutes late! Explain…” she said menacingly “Erm, yeah I was late because my friend dropped me late” cleverly avoiding giving out the name of said friend “and besides I’m only 5 minutes late!” Zezoo glared at Bebotron with as much hate as she could muster. “Oh, that doesn’t seem like a valid excuse… An excuse like that could receive a special assignment,” she pretended to think “how about working with Luckcharm in the academy looking for lyrics to a song hmm? That sound good?” it was a ridiculous question really, no one wanted to work with Luckcharm! It’s not because she was a bad person. It’s just that she had such a happy and sweet disposition, it tended to annoy anyone she spoke to. Needless to say Bebo wasn’t happy with her “special assignment”…

Few hours later, Bebo was trying as hard as she could not to cry! “OH MY GOSH! WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT ADORABLE PET?!” Luckcharm practically screamed “THAT IS ADORABLE AND LOOK AT THAT DESK ITS SO COLORFUL!” that’s it, Bebotron thought, no more of this! I shouldn’t even be here! Must.find.an.excuse! “Hey luck? I'm just gonna go in the backroom to find, er, more inspiration. Is that okay?” “Oh sure buddy have fun!” she said with a cavity inducing smile. Bebotron ran with all her energy to the back of the academy. Closing the door of the backroom gently, she sat on the floor trying very hard not to cheer at her escape! Then the voices appeared…

“Speak now professor and we might just let you go” growled a voice “speak now professor! Don’t make your brother have to suffer for it!” the last sentence was illustrated with the sound of a bat hitting a fleshy surface several times. Haunting screams echoed in the halls, leaving the hairs of Bebo’s neck standing. “No!” said a frail voice stubbornly “I will not! The likes of you don’t deserve to know anything!” mentally Bebo noted that that wasn’t the answer they wanted to hear. The sound of several whacks confirmed that statement! “Well then professor! If you won’t tell us we’re going to have to take you to a place where you will have to!” a strangled scream littered the ears of Bebotron, cutting off any notions of helping Choproff (for of course it was he) and the stranger. The corridor was now filled with the sound of bodies being dragged, possibly to a car thought Bebotron. She got out of the room running back to the place she was happy to escape from! What do I do now? Thought Bebo bitterly I should tell the authorities or someone but I feel things might just get worse if I do! What if the people who hurt the professor and that man escaped from Chobots completely? Then no one could help? And of course she was right…

She rode home in relative silence, except for a small “hi” and “bye” at the beginning and ending of the trip. Dragon did try to find out why his friend was unusually silent but was faced with his favorite type of reply- silence… “I should really not give her the silent treatment when she asks me a question. I now see how annoying it is!” thought Dragon

Back at home Bebo felt empty. Of course the whole of Chobots would realize the resident professor of the academy has disappeared! And who was the professor’s brother? All these questions were spinning around her head made her slightly nauseous. There was only one solution really! She could tell her friends. Dan and Tripleh could help… but if I told them would I endanger them? I’ll think about it tomorrow, I should get some sleep now… needless to say she didn’t get any…
